Cleocin t how supplied

Cleocin T is a topical antibiotic medication used for the treatment of acne vulgaris. It contains clindamycin phosphate, which helps to reduce the number of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.

Cleocin T comes in two forms:

  • Lotion - a thin, liquid formulation that is applied directly to the skin
  • Solution - a clear, liquid formulation that is applied with an applicator pad

The lotion is available in a 30ml bottle, while the solution is available in both a 30ml bottle and a 60ml bottle.

Both forms of Cleocin T should be stored at room temperature and away from light and moisture. They should also be kept out of the reach of children.

If you have been prescribed Cleocin T for the treatment of acne, be sure to follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist. Using the medication incorrectly could result in the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Important: Cleocin T is available by prescription only. Do not use this medication if you are allergic to clindamycin or any other ingredients in Cleocin T.

Cleocin T Description

Cleocin T is a topical solution that contains the antibiotic Clindamycin. It is formulated to treat acne vulgaris and other skin infections caused by bacteria. Cleocin T comes in different strengths, depending on your dermatologist’s prescription. It is applied to the skin once or twice a day after washing your face with a gentle cleanser.

Purpose of Cleocin T

Cleocin T’s main purpose is to reduce the severity and number of acne breakouts. It does this by inhibiting the growth of bacteria responsible for causing acne. The antibacterial properties of Clindamycin also make it effective for treating certain types of skin infections, such as folliculitis and impetigo. It is important to note that Cleocin T should not be used for fungal or viral infections.

Using Cleocin T regularly can help improve the appearance of acne-prone skin and reduce the risk of scarring. It may take several weeks of treatment before you see significant improvement, so it is important to use it as directed by your dermatologist.
